What is Syncplicity Synchronization?
Syncplicity Synchronization is a new approach to synchronization designed from the ground up to be simple, speedy, and safe.
Syncplicity Synchronization is simple: Syncplicity asks no complicated questions and requires no deep technical knowledge. Instead, it relies upon the Syncplicity client and Syncplicity servers to work together to determine what to synchronize and how to do it. Of course, Syncplicity doesn’t sacrifice flexibility with the ability to pick and choose exactly which folders you want to synchronize.
Syncplicity Synchronization is speedy: Syncplicity works on your schedule. Rather than force you to start each synchronization manually or only synchronizing and backing up on a fixed schedule, Syncplicity does so continuously.
Syncplicity also recognizes that while your data is important, not all files have the same importance. The Syncplicity client and servers work together to ensure that the most important files are synchronized and backed up first before less important files.
Syncplicity Synchronization is safe: Syncplicity recognizes your data is important and we work hard to earn your trust. Beyond continuous backup of files, Syncplicity also gracefully and safely handles dangerous situations which can potentially cause data loss. Files deleted on one machine aren’t deleted on your other machines right away and permanently – instead, they are placed into the respective Windows Recycle Bins of those machines in order to prevent an accidental deletion from becoming a big mistake. And in case you ever empty those Recycle Bins, rest assured the files are still available in Syncplicity: the Syncplicity Recycle Bin on Syncplicity’s website remembers every file you ever had.
Safely collaborate with others. In cases of conflicts, Syncplicity leverages its synchronization engine to make intelligent decisions on how files should be synchronized and conflicts resolved. The synchronization engine ensures that data is never lost and all conflicting revisions are kept.
If you use multiple machines, Syncplicity delivers a seamless experience between them. You no longer need to worry about which machine a file is on: if you have a file on your desktop, the latest version will always be available on your laptop. Edit the file on your laptop and the latest version is automatically synchronized back to your desktop.

Find a typo? No worries! make the change and upload it back through the File Browser.
When you’re back at your computer, the updated file is already waiting for you, safely backed up and ready to go.
