• What are the differences between the plans?

  Besides the size of each plan, there are a few more differences between the free plan and the paid plan. The free plan lets you sync only two computers versus 5 computers with the paid plan. The free plan keeps previous versions of your files, which you've replaced with a new version, for up to a month and the paid plan keeps these versions until you delete them. Files in your free account will be removed if you stop using Syncplicity and don’t sign in for three months from any of your computers or the website.

• What is a "GB" and how many do I need?

  A GB is a technical term that stands for gigabyte, a unit of measurement for electronic data. You may recognize the unit from other places on your computer – the size of your hard drive, for example, is measured the same way. 2GB is enough to store about 100 documents, 300 photos, and 300 songs. 50GB is enough to store about 1000 documents, 8000 photos, and 8000 songs. Pick the plan that suits you best and remember, you can always change it, up to 50 GB for the Syncplicity Personal Edition and to any amount of storage with the Syncplicity Business Edition.

• Can I change plans or cancel anytime I like?

  Absolutely. You can change plans between Free, Personal Edition or Business Edition anytime. You can cancel anytime on the My Syncplicity website; when you do, you’ll be charged for the remainder of the period you’ve paid for and we’ll never charge you again. However, we do not issue refunds for prepaid monthly and yearly plans.

• What types of payment do you accept?

  We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover for Personal Edition subscriptions. Purchase Orders may be used for annual Business Edition subscriptions.

• How much extra space do I get for referring friends?

  As a free user, you can get up to 3GB more (for a total account size of 5GB!) by referring three friends – we’ll add 1GB to your account for each friend who signs up. As a paying user of personal edition, those numbers double to 2GB per referral for a total of 6GB extra! What’s more, your friends won’t start with a basic account either – we’ll throw in another 1GB, or 5GB if they subscribe, as a thank you for trying out Syncplicity based on your recommendation. The extra free storage for you and your referrals is for a full year.
