What is your role as a Syncplicity Reseller?

Once your application has been approved, you will be responsible for finding, building and maintaining customer relationships. As the trusted service provider to your customer, you maintain and manage that relationship. There are no minimum sales requirements.

Your role as a reseller includes:

  • Prospecting and Sales: You will find and sell to customers. You may initiate a free 30-day trial for your prospects for up to 25 users to demonstrate the value of a Syncplicity or you may go directly to ordering paid subscriptions.
  • Creating Customer Accounts: You will initiate new orders through your Reseller Console, either by converting a free trial to a paid subscription or by initiating a new order.
  • Deployment Support: Some resellers provide deployment support, such as onsite or webinar training, initial data synchronization, data migration or other roll-out services. If the customer has outsourced the IT function to you, our unique remote administration console gives you the tools you need to provide ongoing administration of Syncplicity remotely.
  • Maintaining the Customer Billing Relationship: You will handle all aspects of billing and collection with your customer. Syncplicity’s billing relationship is only with you as our reseller.

How do I make money as a Syncplicity Reseller?

The shift of many customers to SaaS solutions means a new revenue opportunity for you as a solution provider. Syncplicity provides you with a discount off the list price of Business Edition, off both initial orders and renewing subscriptions. As you continue to renew your customers’ subscriptions, you build a new and growing recurring revenue stream.

Businesses of all sizes can benefit from Syncplicity and the market opportunity is broad. The average sales cycle is 30 days, which is the time of the free trial, so opportunities can be quickly created as value is easily demonstrated to your customers.

Though Syncplicity is easy to deploy and use, there is an opportunity for resellers to provide implementation and ongoing services offerings such as training, initial data synchronization and migration, user onboarding and policy set-up, IT console settings management, and remote IT helpdesk.

Are there any application, training, certification or other fees to join the Reseller Program?

There are no fees associated with joining the Syncplicity Reseller Program.

Is there a minimum annual sales requirement in the Reseller Program?

There is no minimum sales requirement to maintain your status as an Authorized Reseller.

How long does it take to get started as a Syncplicity Reseller?

Your online application will be processed within 5 business days. Our resellers generally initiate their first free trials and demonstrations for customers within a week of signing up and have achieved their first customer orders and implementations within a month of joining the program.

Am I responsible for front-line support?

Syncplicity offers front-line support to all customers. Online support comes with the product, and telephone support may also be purchased. We do not require resellers to be involved in customer support, but at your option you may elect to make yourself a part of this process as an additional value-added service for your customers.
