SANTA CLARA, Calif., February 17, 2016 – Syncplicity, the global leader of the hybrid enterprise file sync and share market, today announced that Patrick Gibbons has joined the company as Vice President of Customer Success Engineering. Gibbons will lead the company’s efforts to help customers transform their IT infrastructures and define the digital workplace of the future. In this capacity he will be responsible for Syncplicity’s team of highly-skilled Customer Success Engineers.
Gibbons was formerly the Director of IT Operations at Major League Baseball, where he deployed Syncplicity for its hybrid-cloud capabilities and comprehensive security model.
“The digital transformation of IT is pushing global enterprises to select vendors who can make that journey with them and guide them in every step of the process,” said Jonathan Huberman, CEO of Syncplicity. “Patrick’s experience, vision and understanding of what it takes to transform IT to support the digital workplace makes him an ideal person to lead our Customer Success teams as we help our clients make that journey. It’s also a great honor when a customer loves a product so much that he wants to join the company that provides it.”
The Syncplicity Customer Success Team works with customers to ensure they have the right components in place to manage the IT transformation required to meet the needs of the digital workplace. Gibbons’ team of engineers has been involved in some of the largest EFSS deployments in the world. His addition to the team is part of Syncplicity’s plan to expand its recognized Customer Success Program, which is available to every customer around the world as part of the Syncplicity offering.
“As a customer of Synpclicity for the last two years, I thought I knew the product, but after having the opportunity to see it from the inside out, I am even more excited to be part of this team that is passionate about its customers’ success and the market transformation it is leading toward the digital enterprise workplace,” said Gibbons.
Syncplicity is a leading enterprise hybrid file sharing and mobile collaboration solution that provides users with the experience and tools they desire and gives IT the security and control it needs while significantly reducing IT cost.
