Syncplicity complies with all privacy laws regarding the collection, use, retention, and transfer of personal information from the European Union, the European Economic Area, and Switzerland to locations outside of the European Union, the European Economic Area, and Switzerland, and has adopted or will agree to adopt the Model Clauses recommended by the European Commission in Syncplicity’s contractual arrangements with its customers and suppliers.
Syncplicity participates in and has certified its compliance with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework. Syncplicity is committed to subjecting all personal data received from European Union (EU) member countries, in reliance on the Privacy Shield Framework, to the Framework’s applicable Principles. Syncplicity is responsible for the processing of personal data it receives, under the Privacy Shield Framework, and subsequently transfers to a third party acting as an agent on its behalf. Syncplicity complies with the Privacy Shield Principles for all onward transfers of personal data from the EU, including the onward transfer liability provisions.
With respect to personal data received or transferred pursuant to the Privacy Shield Framework, Syncplicity is subject to the regulatory enforcement powers of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission. In certain situations, Syncplicity may be required to disclose personal data in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.

Syncplicity has implemented reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures designed to protect your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, disclosure, use, alteration, or destruction. When you provide us with credit card information via a Syncplicity website or login credentials on any Syncplicity platform, we will encrypt that information via SSL. Our websites or applications may include social media features, such as the Facebook "Like" button, and widgets, such as the "share this" button. If you add a user to your business or enterprise account, we will ask you for your contact’s name and email address. We will automatically send your contact a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the site. Syncplicity does not store this information, except to the extent permitted by law, and will only use it for the specific reason for which it was provided. When we provide services to our customers, in some instances we process personal information about their clients. Syncplicity collects information under the direction of its customers, and has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal information it processes. If you are a client of one of our customers and would no longer like to be contacted by one of our customers that use our service, please contact the customer that you interact with directly. We may transfer personal information to companies that help us provide our service. Transfers to subsequent third parties are covered by the service agreements with our customers. An individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data should direct his query to Syncplicity's customer (the data controller). If requested to remove data we will respond within a reasonable timeframe. We will retain personal information we process on behalf of our customers for as long as needed to provide services to our customer.
